Beginnings are Hard

I’ve decided to start a blog for women over sixty.  I don’t want you to think that I am a techie because I’m not.  I had to call my daughter to find out what the heck a blog is!  I like the idea of sharing my journey as a woman of sixty five.  I won’t kid you, sometimes my journey is sidelined by things out of my control but I continue to feel that while my time on this earth may be limitedI still want to make it as fun and, dare I say, meaningful as possible.  So long story short, I met with my two daughters last night to find out how I begin this journey.  They assure me that the technology is easy and all I have to do is start writing – so here goes.

I’m a sixty five year old woman living in a small community in Southern California.  My husband of 43 years and I moved here five years ago to be closer to our daughters and our grandchildren and to enjoy the sunny weather.  I try to workout twice a week but only can stick to it if I have a trainer who holds me accountable.  I golf - not well.  I quilt but am just getting started again after a long lay-off.  I don’t like to cook. I love to read - mostly romances because they have a happy ending and it’s fun to see young passion in action.  I love to talk to people and hear their stories.  I love to go to the movies.  I want to learn more about good people doing good things in this world and how I can be a part of that.

So my blog journey begins.  Be patient with me as I learn and let’s share this journey together.
